L-Imnarja

The L-Imnarja festival is one of the oldest feasts celebrated on the Maltese Islands and celebrated two very important Saints in Maltese religious lore, St Peter and St Paul. The L-Imnarja festival has developed and grown over the years and is no longer a village feast but a big event held at Buskett Garden. 

The liturgical services are held in the Mdina Cathedral and in the late afternoon several fun and exiting horse and donkey races are held in a country lane situated just below and at some distance from Mdina.
